Once a year I seem to finally come on here and do an update of some form. It's been a long year, and every time I start a project something seems to come and stop it. I'm moving out of GR at the end of this year and heading back to NV.

I hate moving, I hate packing, but I have no choice. Still I do have quite a few art projects going, including a comic that I need to get up and running. Most of the characters are designed; however, when I actually started get working on it the damned move hit out of no where.

Hopefully I'll have it up before the year is over, but who knows. It seems I am constantly waiting for another shoe to fall.

This is to force me to do some freaking work around here (I've been so lazy) so here it goes.

As if there aren't enough of these types of things around already, I decided to let a little idea I had loose. You're free to try this out, if you'd like. I'm going to, anyway! (:

Basically, it's a meme. And yes, it involves art. (This is where you go; "Yay, art!", if you feel that would be a suitable reaction.) If you know the 100 themes project, where you draw 100 pictures all relating to different themes, this will be familiar. This meme however involves fourteen songs, your music player of choice (preferrably with a randomized playback feature), and you.

HOW TO DO THIS
1) Start your music player in randomize mode.
2) Get anything that will let you write the song titles down.
3) Randomize 14 songs, writing the titles down for all of them.
4) Then, you make 14 different pictures, each somehow relating to one of the songs.
5) Post the list somewhere public and keep it updated as you go.
6) When you finish, tell Vilhelmina about it, and she'll add you to her list. (:
7) Spread the joy! Tell your friends, tag people, things like that.

When randomizing, if you come across a song you don't like at all, or for whatever reason don't think would be suitable to draw something related to, just skip it. This is supposed to be fun, so. ;D Try not to skip TOO many songs though, we still want to keep some kind of randomized feeling. XD

I'm in the middle of a move right now. We're moving from Nevada to Michigan, a glorious long drive with a full grown lab and a new puppy. On the good hand, we are getting our OWN HOUSE! Yes, I am going to own (sorta, good old mortgage) my own house at 20! Beetches! I am actually kind of proud of this fact as you can tell. So expect lots of house art, and lots of dog art since we are getting a Siberian Husky puppy! EEE! I am so excited, I've wanted to own a husky for a really long time, and that dream is finally coming to fruition. Not to mention Azzy (our black lab mix) desperately needs some one to play with.

Uh, what else is going on....My art style is changing, again. I started in anime and I find myself moving to something a little more...dare I say disney? I'm going to try to put up some more finished pieces when, ya know, boxes and packing supplies aren't trying to eat me. Seriously though, how is it that when I end up packing I end up COVERED in tape, bubble wrap and packing peanuts?! I must have been pulling pieces of cardboard out of my hair for a couple freaking hours!

What else has been going on...uh...moving with a cat who likes to claw up cardboard is really difficult too. I mean, I have put up all her favorite boxes, but those already have scratch marks in them, so of course she is going for my nicely LABELED boxes! And she goes for the labeling every time! If she wasn't so cute I'd lock her up in the bedroom for the rest of the packing process.

And I need to get an ID up so people don't think I'm some lazy bum when they see me commenting around. Of course, I sort of am I've had this page for ages and how many pieces of art are up? Yeah, less than a dozen. At any rate, hopefully with the new move I'll have a nice enough work area that I'll actually want to finish half the pieces I start! So, now I'm going to put a little check list for me to remind myself what I need to do.

1. Draw and put up ID and icon
2. Finish rock'em sock'em drawing.
3. Finish new age snow white character drawing
4. Find dog a chew toy he can't kill in a week.

Now let's just see how much of this I manage to get done shall we?

I need to put some updates up here! I'm sorry I have been so busy lately getting to move I haven't been drawing for awhile. Luckily the mean gremlin that stole my scanner decided to put it out in the walk way for me to trip on, so I can scan up everything I've been drawing lately! Yes, excitement! Expect LOTS of updates!

Gods I need to get more up here. I am working on a manga for the summer, so hope hope hope I can get more work up here in the mean time!
